Q'aproveche vs IAMenu: which suits a tourist restaurant best

Prices verified on 24/08/2026. Source: IAMenu public website. The features are not identical: compare the scope, not just the fee.

In brief

Both offer AI-powered digital menus, but they target different markets. IAMenu is a broader suite: orders, marketing, loyalty and aggregators. Q'aproveche is deliberately focused on tourist restaurants and operations in the Canary Islands: languages, bookings and legal invoicing with IGIC. The entry-level price difference is €5 per month; the scope difference is greater in both directions.

Q'aproveche is better if… language is your main challenge: our entry plan includes the menu in 12 languages and theirs in 2. Also if you need legal Veri*Factu invoicing with IGIC or VAT, or if your website is on WordPress.

IAMenu is better if… you need table orders with kitchen display screen, marketing and loyalty, synchronisation with Deliveroo and Uber Eats, or white label and API. Their Professional plan outperforms ours in those areas.

Where IAMenu is better than us

We're saying this because it's true. If any of these points is critical for your restaurant, IAMenu is the sensible choice and we won't tell you otherwise.

Setup plus fee, as each publishes their prices. Does not include commissions, which depend on each restaurant's volume — that's what the calculator below is for.

Compare carefully: our prices include taxes and IAMenu's are published without stating whether they do. On a figure without taxes you need to add the VAT or IGIC that applies to you, so the real difference is smaller than the table suggests.

How it comes from IAMenu

  1. Export your menu from the IAMenu panel, or download the PDF it generates.
  2. You send it to us and we import it: dishes, categories, prices and declared allergens.
  3. Review the imported menu and confirm the allergens, which are your legal responsibility.
  4. We translate the menu into the languages you need and publish the new QR code.
  5. The previous QR code remains yours: whenever you like, you can switch to the new one at your own pace.

Questions

How many languages does each plan include at entry level?

Q'aproveche translates the menu into 12 languages from the Pro plan onwards. IAMenu offers 2 in their Starter plan, 4 in Professional and 8 in Premium. If your clientele is international, that's the difference you'll notice most.

Which is cheaper?

At entry level, us: €14/month versus €19/month. At higher plans the costs shift, because their Professional includes table ordering and marketing which are add-ons for us. Use the calculator above with your own figures before deciding.

What does IAMenu do that you don't?

Integrated marketing and loyalty (stamps, vouchers, promotions) and menu synchronisation with Deliveroo and Uber Eats. We don't have either. They also lock in the price for life in their launch promotion; ours is for one year.

And what do you do that they don't?

Legal invoicing Veri*Factu with IGIC or VAT through Kraakup, WordPress plugin to host the menu on your own domain, and the menu in 12 languages from the entry plan.

Is there a minimum contract term?

Neither of us has one. You can cancel whenever you like.
